Summerland Yacht Club offers a unique and vibrant boating community experience on the beautiful Okanagan Lake. Established in 1952, SYC has grown to around 200 members who participate in a variety of boating activities throughout the season. From cruising the lake to hosting regattas and social events, there is always something exciting happening at the Yacht Club. Members can enjoy reciprocal moorage at six other Yacht Clubs on the lake, expanding their boating opportunities and connections within the boating community.
The Club's facilities include four docks with ample moorage space, three docks equipped with 20 amp service and city water, and a shower and washroom building for members' convenience. SYC is open seven days a week during summer, providing easy access to the water and all the amenities boaters may need. The Club's Boathouse Bar and Grill is open to the public, serving delicious meals indoors or on the patio with stunning views of the lake. Whether you're a seasoned boater or new to the boating world, SYC offers a welcoming and inclusive community for all members.
