Swimrite

Swimrite, based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, offers top-tier swimming lessons for both children and adults, managed by its dedicated team. Founded in 1994 to meet the local demand for quality swimming instruction, Swimrite’s small classes and water-based instructors ensure each lesson is highly beneficial.

Safety is a primary concern at Swimrite. Their swim programme is tailored for smaller pools to ensure participant safety. All instructors are highly trained and certified by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) or the Swimming Teachers' Association (STA), and undergo CRB checks for added security.

Swimrite offers individual and group swimming tuition at two key locations: Rastrick Pool, a purpose-built teaching pool with warmer water, ideal for babies and intermediates; and Ploughcroft, Halifax, which accommodates various age groups and skill levels, from babies to competitive swimmers.

Lessons are conducted in blocks of 10 throughout the year, including school and most public holidays. Notices are posted at the pools if there are any closures.

Proud of its high success rate, Swimrite celebrates student achievements in distance and technique, fostering a sense of accomplishment. Many students advance to competitive swimming or join Swimrite as instructors.

The staff at Swimrite are experienced, caring, and often former competitive swimmers themselves, providing hands-on demonstrations to enhance learning.
