Our classes are led by Gary, an experienced instructor with over a decade of experience in various martial arts disciplines. Gary tailors each class to the needs and abilities of the students, providing a supportive and encouraging training environment. In Systema, there are no belts or gradings - students simply attend class and focus on continuous improvement.
Training sessions at Systema Georgetown are ninety (90) minutes long and typically begin with a warm-up and breathing exercises. Classes then transition into a chosen area of focus, such as groundwork, weapon defence, or other self-defence topics. The classes conclude with a combination of breathing exercises and massage to cleanse and restore the body.
