About

Tai Chi Auckland is a renowned school located in Whangaparoa, New Zealand, offering top-notch Tai Chi and Qigong classes. Led by Sifu Henri-noel Venturini, a highly experienced and skilled instructor, the school is known for its innovative teaching methods and a comprehensive approach to martial arts.

Sifu Henri's teaching style is the result of over 20 years of studying and practising various martial arts disciplines, including Wu style Tai Chi, Lo Han Qigong, Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do, Choy Le Foot Kung Fu, and Judo. He has seamlessly transitioned from the more aggressive forms of martial arts into the softer styles, such as Tai Chi and Qigong. This shift has allowed him to cultivate a healthier physical state and a deeper awareness of his whole being.

The Tai Chi classes at Tai Chi Auckland are conducted at two locations. The Whangaparoa class takes place at the Whangaparaoa rate payers Hall every Monday. Beginners can join the class at 5:00 pm, while more experienced Tai Chi players can participate at 5:30 pm. The classes primarily focus on Wu style Tai Chi and Lohan Qigong.

The second location for Tai Chi classes is North Orewa reserve, where Tai Chi in the park sessions are held every Saturday morning at 7 am. Whether you are a beginner or have previous experience in Tai Chi, these classes offer a serene outdoor environment for practising this ancient art form.

In addition to Tai Chi classes, Sifu Henri Venturini is also associated with Monshah Healing Arts and Balanced Acupuncture Clinic in Orewa. As a competent and caring therapist, he offers acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine services to promote holistic healing and wellbeing. With a Bachelor of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, as well as a diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine, Sifu Henri brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practise.

Overall, Tai Chi Auckland embodies the vision of Monshah Healing Arts, which is to impart wisdom, knowledge, awareness, and compassion through the use of energetic medicine. Sifu Henri's mission is to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters transformation and connexion. He believes in the power of communication, both verbal and non-verbal, to facilitate healing and growth. Through his services, classes, and community involvement, Sifu Henri strives to contribute to the happiness and fulfilment of all individuals.
