Tanya Harmon is a highly experienced and compassionate yoga instructor based in Courtenay. With certifications including RYT 500, YACEP, and GSY-2, Tanya brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her classes. Her journey with movement began at a young age, evolving from aerobics and marathons to a deep connection with yoga.
After experiencing the healing power of restorative therapeutic yoga during a challenging period in her life, Tanya felt compelled to share this practice with others. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification and further expanded her skills with certifications in Hatha, Yin, Restorative, and Gentle Somatic Yoga. Tanya's teaching style focuses on mindful movement, helping students deepen their mind-body awareness, release tension, and move with ease.
