Situated in sunny Nelson, our club offers unparalleled opportunities for boating enthusiasts to enjoy the stunning Tasman Bay, which is known for its fantastic sea breezes and warm water.

At Tasman Bay Cruising Club, we pride ourselves on creating a vibrant and inclusive community where members can pursue their passion for sailing and boating. Whether you are a seasoned sailor or just starting out, our club offers a range of membership options to suit your needs. Choose from Full, Social, Country, Junior, Crew, and Veteran memberships, or explore our Corporate options. Our membership subscription covers the period from 1 August to 31 July each year.

With a busy calendar of events, there is always something happening at the club. From thrilling yacht races to social gatherings, our events cater to all interests. Join us for the upcoming Harbour Champs Race 2 on 10 January, Harbour Champs Race 3 on 17 January, or the Evolution Sails Nelson Regatta from 20-23 January. We also host social events like the Big Boat Challenge and the Prize Giving Evening.

Our venue is the perfect space for special occasions and functions. Whether you are planning a wedding, birthday party, conference, meeting, or staff function, our bar, restaurant, and lower meeting room provide a comfortable and flexible setting. We also offer venue hire details and rates to accommodate your needs.

For boat enthusiasts, our boat yard facility is conveniently located opposite the club. It offers long-term storage for yachts, launches, and trailer yachts up to 11 metres. With electricity, water, and recently upgraded security lighting on site, our boat yard provides peace of mind and preferential rates for our members.
