Teddy Bear Gymnastics Classes, a Gymnastics For All club in Ipswich, is excited to announce its upcoming 8-week course for children aged 3 to 4½ years. These classes are specifically designed to introduce your child to the world of gymnastics in a structured and enjoyable manner, laying the foundations for their gymnastic development.
Our aim is to provide a stimulating and fun environment for children, while also instilling a sense of direction and purpose through our award scheme. We believe in celebrating progression and the sense of achievement it brings. That's why, during the penultimate week of the course, we have a non-competitive 'Test Week' where children can showcase their newly acquired skills. Those who pass will have the opportunity to move up to the next level in the following term.
Our classes follow a well-planned format. We begin with a whole group warm-up, ensuring that everyone is ready for the fun ahead. Next, we engage in a coordination activity to further develop their skills. Then, we break into smaller groups based on ability levels, spending five minutes on each piece of apparatus to work on the award scheme. At the end of the session, we have a five-minute free playtime where parents/carers can join in and supervise their children. We conclude the class with the Teddy Bear Song and bid our goodbyes.
To accommodate everyone's schedule, Teddy Bear Gymnastics Classes are available on various days and times throughout the week. You can join us on Monday (10am to 11am & 1pm to 2pm), Tuesday (10am to 11am & 1pm to 2pm), Wednesday (10am to 11am & 1pm to 2pm), Thursday (10am to 11am & 1pm to 2pm), Friday (10am to 11am & 1pm to 2pm), or Sunday (9am to 10am).
The cost for our 8-week course is £64.00, with classes commencing from Term 2 on February 26. We also offer an off-peak class on Monday from 2pm to 2.45pm for £46.40, providing flexibility to those with specific scheduling needs.
