Looking to ramp up your game? Join the Te Rapa Rugby Club with training sessions every Tuesday and Thursday at our home ground in Te Rapa. Our coaching crew, led by Head Coach Alby King, is all about helping you sharpen your skills and hit your peak.
Te Rapa's got a legacy, kicking off from 1899 with a bunch of flax cutters starting the whole thing. After a short break, the club roared back in 1901 and hasn’t slowed down. We moved from Te Rapa Primary School to linking up with the RNZAF and were accepted into the Hamilton Union in 1963, rocking the red and blue.
Our players often rise to bigger challenges, including Waikato Rep teams. Legends like Richard Kahui and Mils Muliaina started here. In 2022, our Senior A team is gunning for glory in the Waikato Division 1 comp. Think you've got what it takes? Join us.
Beyond the pitch, we’ve got a buzzing community with events, fundraisers, and even netball if you fancy a change. Big thanks to our sponsors who back our love for rugby and our community's growth.
Want to know more? Drop us an email or check our site. We welcome players of all ages and skill levels. Come be a part of Te Rapa Rugby Club’s proud tradition!
