About
Helen Saines, who's been at the helm of The Andrews Dance Centre since 2007, is all about creating a supportive space for young dancers. She's dedicated to helping kids chase their dance dreams.
Helen’s got a talented team backing her up, all former students of the school. They've got their teaching qualifications under Helen’s guidance and are CRB checked. Plus, the school’s covered with public liability insurance for everyone's peace of mind.
The Andrews Dance Centre offers dance classes for both boys and girls starting from age 3. Their classes are all about having fun and enjoying dance, complete with innovative routines and well-structured sessions. Every student gets individual attention, with the aim of helping them reach their dance goals.
Students can take exams with big names like The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and The National Association of Teachers of Dancing, giving them a chance to grow their skills and earn recognition.
Besides exams, students also get to shine in shows and workshops, showcasing their progress and gaining performance experience.
Founded in 1954 by Audrie Andrews, the centre initially offered classes in Stevenage. Audrie’s daughter, Joy, took over in 1987, expanding it to Hitchin, Baldock, and Biggleswade, building a top-notch training reputation.
Today, The Andrews Dance Centre continues to deliver quality dance classes in Baldock and nearby areas, focusing on fun, safety, and inspiration. They aim to help every student reach their full potential in dance.
