With a focus on excellence and authenticity, The Dojo: Heaton offers a range of activities for individuals of all ages and skill levels. The centre currently offers Karate, taught by the renowned Newcastle Goju-Ryu Karate Academy, led by Aaron Milan-Vega. The classes are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Additionally, Allison, an experienced yoga teacher from Ali Fitness Newcastle, conducts yoga classes on Monday and Friday mornings.
Every Friday evening, John from Dynamic Aikido Nocquet leads invigorating Aikido sessions. Sarah from Expand with Sarah hosts transformative breathwork sessions on Saturdays.
In addition to providing exceptional classes, The Dojo: Heaton also offers its versatile space for rent. Whether you're a fitness instructor, dance teacher, or meditation practitioner, you can utilise their spacious training area for your classes. The Dojo: Heaton boasts a fully matted floor, which allows for a safe training environment, as well as a reception/waiting area, changing/storage rooms, and two toilets. The space is available for rent on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, with morning and afternoon/evening slots available.
The rental fee is 20 per hour, and the space is equipped with Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth speaker, and a daily cleaning service.
