An exciting initiative from Michael and the team is the Kiwi Running Hero programme. This running club offers a supportive community for individuals aiming to achieve personal goals through running. Starting on January 16th, 2024, the club will meet every Tuesday night in Auckland's Britomart for weekly run/walk events, open to those passionate about promoting healthier lives.

Participants benefit from dedicated coaching support and a Facebook group offering guidance and tips. The programme offers various participation options, including weekly, monthly, and annual passes, with a chance to win a trip to Croatia and Italy for the Dubrovnik Half Marathon in April 2025, valued at $12,000.
