Sam Holmshaw wishes to reach out to the sports community with some exciting news. At THA – The Holmshaw Academy Ltd, they've crafted programmes to help young footballers develop not just their skills on the pitch, but also their social and emotional intelligence.

THA believes football is more than just a game; it's a way to teach life skills and build character. They've set up football centres in Leeds and Sheffield to cater to children of all ages and skill levels. For the little ones, there's the Parent and Toddler sessions for ages 2-4, led by qualified coaches who focus on movement and social skills.

For children aged 5-7, they offer Key Stage 1 sessions. These are indoors during winter and outdoors in the summer, delivered by University and FA qualified coaches. The focus here is on movement skills and introducing technical football skills.

The Grassroots + groups, aimed at children aged 8-11, are held outdoors. University and FA qualified coaches guide these sessions, focusing on both technical and tactical skills through a specially designed curriculum.

Specialist sessions for boys and girls aged 12-16 are also available. These are run by FA and University qualified coaches, who help players use their technical abilities in tactical scenarios.

For more personalised training, there are 1:1 football sessions for children aged 8-16. These outdoor sessions are tailored to refine individual technical skills, conducted by FA and University qualified coaches.
