The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts Amersham is a dedicated performing arts school located in Buckinghamshire, New Zealand. They offer a wide range of classes for children and young adults, including Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre (singing & dancing), and Film & Television. The academy operates from Woodside Junior School every Saturday, with morning sessions from 9:45-13:00 and afternoon sessions from 13:45-17:00.

PQA Amersham is open to students aged 4–18 years within the Amersham, Chesham, Great Missenden, Bovingdon, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Seer Green, Beaconsfield, Hazlemere, and Holmer Green area. The academy offers a variety of opportunities for students to perform in plays, musicals, and create their own films. They regularly work on exciting projects that allow students to take on different roles and gain valuable experience in the performing arts industry.

The academy encourages interested individuals to attend a free taster session to get a firsthand experience of what they do at PQA Amersham. Interested individuals can contact the academy through email or phone to arrange a taster session or visit to the academy. Registration of interest online will also ensure that individuals receive an information pack.

For fees, primary students are charged 92. 00 per calendar month, sibling students are charged 69. 00 per calendar month, and Poppets students are charged 46. 00 per calendar month.

The academy has a team of experienced and passionate professionals, including the Principal Liz Charleston, who has been involved with youth theatre for many years. Other members of the team include Ellie, Natalie, Caspar, Matthew, Sam, Elloise, and Megan, all of whom bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their respective roles.

The academy offers module-based classes in Musical Theatre, Film & Television, and Comedy & Drama. In the Musical Theatre classes, students learn a range of singing, dancing, and acting techniques. The Film & Television classes are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the industry. The Comedy & Drama classes focus on theatrical forms and techniques.
