Tollgate Table Tennis Club is Colchester's leading club, offering league play, junior coaching, and senior practise sessions. Established in 2010, the club has become known for its commitment to excellence in table tennis and has been proudly hosting the Colchester Tournament since 2013.
If you're interested in getting involved with table tennis, Tollgate Table Tennis Club is the place to be. Led by General Secretary Martyn Green, the club offers a welcoming and supportive environment for players of all ages and skill levels. The club has an impressive roll of honour, having achieved numerous championships and individual accolades. They were crowned leading League Champions in 2013, 2016, and 2017, as well as Division One Champions in 2020. They have also secured Division Three Championships in 2020 and 2022, as well as Kiltie Cup (Prem. Victories in 2014 and 2015.
The club has also excelled in individual competitions, with champions in various categories such as Men's Singles, Ladies Singles, Veteran Singles, Junior Singles, Doubles, and Handicap events.
Tollgate Table Tennis Club takes pride in its commitment to fostering talent and offering opportunities for growth and development. They provide junior coaching led by experienced and accomplished Pro-Coach Lee McHugh, who has worked with top juniors in Essex and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the sport.
