You to your pony or horse and fitting you with a hat, the staff will provide a safety demonstration before you embark on your trek. The morning trek starts at 9:30am and lasts approximately 2 hours, while the afternoon trek starts at 1:30pm and also lasts approximately 2 hours. During the trek, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the river Wye and the Wye Valley, with the majestic mountain ranges of the Brecon Beacons National Park serving as a stunning backdrop.

For those with more experience in horse riding, Tregoyd Mountain Riders also offers riding and hacking options. The riding experience is suitable for more experienced riders who are comfortable walking, trotting, and occasional cantering. This option allows you to explore more of the beautiful trails of the Black Mountains, enjoying the picturesque scenery and the thrill of riding at a faster pace.

If you're looking for an adrenaline rush, the hacking option is available for experienced riders only. This option includes more and faster canters, allowing you to fully enjoy the exhilaration of riding through the countryside.
