They've got sessions for everyone – newbies can hit up the “Master the Basics” class to get the hang of the sport. Women and girls have their own space with the “Be Yourself and Box” class, focusing on fitness and fun.
If you’re up for a real challenge, there’s one-on-one coaching to train for Olympic-style competitive boxing. Get stuck into the carded boxing teams and become a registered boxer with England Boxing.
Sarah and her team pride themselves on making everyone feel welcome and included. Rock up in whatever gear you're comfy in – whether it's T-shirts, tracksuits, shorts, or even a hijab – and just enjoy your time in the ring.
Membership options are flexible. Pay as you go with each class costing just £3, or go all-in with the unlimited membership at £25 a month, giving you endless access during gym hours – perfect for the serious boxers out there.
The academy's doors are open to anyone aged 9 and up on weekdays, with a special Sunday beginner class for those 6 and older. Kids are more than welcome at Unity, so check the class schedule or give the team a shout for more info.
