About

USKA kickboxing is a renowned martial arts school located in Tyseley, Birmingham. Established in 1996 by Chief Instructor Neil Kelly, who boasts over 35 years of experience in martial arts training and competition, USKA has become a leading force in the world of kickboxing.

Over the years, USKA has produced numerous British, European, and World Champions in both Amateur and Professional disciplines. With a fully equipped Fight Factory, USKA provides all the necessary tools and resources for students to excel and achieve their goals. Whether it's self-defence, physical fitness, earning an internationally recognised Black Belt, or even becoming a World Champion, USKA is dedicated to helping students reach their fullest potential.

While success in competition is a priority, USKA also focuses on nurturing confidence and character building in students of all ages. The school values the development of essential life skills such as courtesy, honesty, confidence, self-discipline, courage, gratitude, commitment, respect, perseverance, and self-control. These skills not only contribute to the student's growth as a martial artist but also carry over into their everyday life.

As a fully recognised and affiliated institution with the ICO (International Combat Organisation), USKA ensures that all its instructors are qualified, insured, CRB checked, and first aid trained. This provides students with a safe and secure training environment.

USKA offers a variety of classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels. The USKA Ninjas programme is designed for children between 4 and 7 years old, providing them with an introduction to martial arts training and building a foundation for future Kickboxing or Self Defence classes. USKA Little Ninjas combines interactive and basic coordination skills with fitness, flexibility, concentration games, and basic Kickboxing techniques in a fun one-hour workout.

For those looking to deepen their technical skills, USKA offers Technical Classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. These classes systematically cover a syllabus of Kickboxing techniques, focusing on the mechanics of each move and preparing students for grading examinations. The sessions encompass fitness and conditioning drills, complete body stretching, shadow-boxing, partner work, padwork, and self-defence techniques for practical application.

USKA also provides Female/Ladies Only Sessions, catering to female students aged 6 and above. Taught in an all-female environment by a female instructor, these sessions encompass Kickboxing, Self Defence, and a range of fitness and conditioning activities. They are designed to promote confidence building, cardio work, weight loss, body toning, body conditioning, strength building, flexibility training, and agility training in a fully equipped Kickboxing gymnasium.

At USKA kickboxing, success and personal growth go hand-in-hand. With dedicated instructors, comprehensive training programmes, and a supportive community, students can embark on a fulfilling martial arts journey. Whether you're seeking self-defence skills, physical fitness, or to become a champion, USKA kickboxing is the ultimate destination for your martial arts aspirations.
