Join the Warwickshire Chess Association, a top-notch chess hub in Coventry. Since 2013, Ben and his team have been promoting junior chess, county chess, correspondence chess, and exciting tournaments in the Warwickshire region.

They offer a range of leagues, including the Birmingham and District Chess League, Coventry & District Chess League, and the Leamington & District League. If you're into correspondence chess, there are competitions too, with games played online or by post.

One of the standout events is their inter-county championships, where they enter up to four teams. These are organised by the Midland Counties Chess Union (MCCU), and the best teams make it to the English Chess Federation (ECF) national stages.

Each year, Ben hosts the Warwickshire Chess Congress, a fan-favourite tournament open to everyone. There are different sections to match all skill levels. The top scorer in the Open section becomes Warwickshire County Champion, and the best female player earns the title of Warwickshire Women's County Champion.
