Way Taekwondo

James would like to extend a warm welcome to the sports community on behalf of Way Taekwondo, a martial arts club located right here in Ashford. Since its establishment in January 2014, the club has been proudly affiliated with British Taekwondo, the UK's governing body for World Taekwondo.

James, the Chief Instructor, is dedicated to making Taekwondo training accessible to everyone, regardless of their background. He strongly believes that with the right determination, anyone can succeed.

Way Taekwondo focuses on more than just physical fighting skills. James and the instructors emphasise the importance of developing both body and mind, aiming for the holistic growth of all students.

A recent highlight for the club was the Dan Grading promotion test on 16th December 2023. With a panel of five esteemed examiners, including Master James himself, the event was a great success. Congratulations to all candidates who passed their exams!

The club also offers various events and competitions, like the upcoming 2nd Ali's Dojang Open Poomsae Championships. These events provide excellent opportunities for members to showcase their talent and hone their skills.

James takes pride in the club's affiliation with British Taekwondo, ensuring high standards of training and professional conduct. All instructors have undergone DBS checks and hold comprehensive public liability insurance, guaranteeing a safe and supportive training environment.

For those interested in joining, Way Taekwondo offers a free trial lesson. After three weeks of training, new members are required to officially join the British Taekwondo Hub. Additional details can be found on the club's website.
