Their classes are based on the movement and body alignment model taught by biomechanical scientist Katy Bowman at Nutritious Movement in the USA.
The founder and co-owner of Well Aligned, Natalie, has a deep belief in healthy living and movement. Her passion for health started from childhood, as her mother emphasised the importance of maintaining good health. Natalie's journey towards wellness led her to become a tour guide in Europe, Australia, and India, where she discovered the transformative power of yoga. Over the past twenty years, Natalie has pursued studies and practise in Shiatsu therapy, Kundalini yoga, Pilates, and more, always seeking to understand the “why” behind movement and wellness.
Her major goal is to help individuals achieve health and wellbeing through integrating alignment and natural movement into their daily lives.
Georgina, a yoga teacher at Well Aligned, believes that yoga is accessible and adaptable to everyone. She sees yoga as a time for nurturing and replenishing oneself, creating harmony within and representing an authentic self. Her teaching style is gentle, flowing, and eclectic, ensuring that every student feels comfortable and welcomed. Georgina is thrilled to be a part of the Well Aligned team and share their philosophy with others.
Alice, another yoga teacher at Well Aligned, discovered yoga as a way to find balance and space in her demanding schedule. Over time, she grew to appreciate the physiology and philosophy behind the practise, witnessing firsthand its transformative effects on the body and mind. Alice believes that yoga is about focusing on the present moment and being at peace with one's body and mind. In her classes, she emphasises balance, focus, and the element of fun and play.
Alice hopes that her students leave each class feeling connected with their own bodies and having tried something new. She is excited to be a part of the Well Aligned team and share her love for yoga with others.
