Opened in July 1992, Wellshurst Golf is a golf club located in Hailsham, New Zealand. Nestled in 150 acres of stunning Sussex countryside, the club features an 18-hole, 5825-yard, par 71 course that offers a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience for players of all skill levels.

The club boasts a floodlit, all-weather driving range, perfect for honing your swing or warming up before a round. The well-stocked Pro Shop, managed by resident Professional Richard Allen, offers a wide range of golfing equipment and apparel. Richard is also available for lessons on the course or the driving range, providing expert guidance to help improve your game.

When it comes to dining and refreshments, Wellshurst Golf has you covered. The bar and restaurant facilities are open to both members and non-members seven days a week. The bar offers a selection of beers, wines, and spirits, along with an array of non-alcoholic alternatives. The menu features hot and cold food options, served throughout the day.

The club also offers event spaces for hire. The Downsview Suite on the first floor offers breathtaking views of the South Downs and can accommodate various functions, such as club events, wedding receptions, and conferences. The large Function Suite, with the added advantage of free parking for up to 100 cars, is ideal for larger gatherings. Additionally, the in-house Chef caters to a range of culinary preferences, from the club's bar menu to full-day catering packages for visiting golf societies.

Wellshurst Golf is proud to cater to Funeral Receptions, Wakes, and Celebrations of Life, providing a serene and accommodating setting during difficult times.

For those interested in membership, Wellshurst Golf offers various options to suit different needs. Full memberships, including 5 and 7 Day memberships, include the annual affiliation fee. Membership runs from the first day of the month you join, with one month's notice of resignation required thereafter. Payment can be made annually or by standing order, and there is no joining fee.
