The dedicated stable hands and grooms ensure the highest standard of care for the horses, attending to their needs diligently. The horses are well-cared for, healthy, and happy, thanks to Lion's attentive team.
Communication is key at WEC. Lion and the friendly, knowledgeable staff are always available to answer questions and provide assistance via phone, email, or Facebook. They respond promptly to all inquiries, ensuring efficient service.
Beyond riding lessons, WEC offers full and DIY livery services in a secure, fully equipped stable yard. Lion's experienced team is always ready to assist, ensuring all horses are well looked after.
WEC values community, regularly hosting events in “Fred’s”, a large room perfect for equestrian-related activities. Lion encourages riders and horse enthusiasts to come together, share knowledge, and support each other.
Riders can also work with their preferred trainers and instructors at WEC. Lion’s welcoming and inclusive environment supports learning and growth at all levels.
A unique feature of WEC is Gideon, a 100% bomb-proof bay gelding. Gideon, specifically trained to help returning riders, nervous riders, or novices, offers gentle rides that improve position, muscle tone, and fitness. Riders can use the provided saddle or their own.
WEC’s syndicate programme allows riders without their own horses to ride regularly. Lion provides everything needed, including the horse, tack, rugs, and equipment. Syndicate members enjoy facility access, hacking out, and competing, with parental approval required for those under 18. Open to leading Riders with a minimum of six months at WEC, the programme costs £50 per week per share with flexible schedules available.
