Wrexham Gymnastics Club (WGC), founded in 1977, is a well-established, not-for-profit gymnastics club in Wrexham. They offer recreational and competitive gymnastics classes for children of all ages in a specially designed facility. Safety and a friendly atmosphere are their top priorities.
The club, managed by Ceri Sass, has a team of dedicated and qualified coaches and volunteers. All coaches are qualified through British Gymnastics (BG), are insured, and have passed DBS checks to ensure gymnast safety.
WGC provides several classes for beginners and recreational gymnasts. For advanced or competitive classes, interested participants can contact the club for more details. Classes are available throughout the week, catering to different age groups. Fees start at £30 per month, with discounts for new members joining between October and December.
Prospective members can try a taster session for £5 to experience the class and meet the coaches before committing to regular classes. Following the taster, full membership registration is required, with monthly fees starting at £30, plus a £15 WGC membership fee and a £20 British Gymnastics registration fee.
Additionally, WGC runs "Tumble, Jump & Play" sessions for parents and toddlers up to 4 years old. These sessions cost £5 each and do not require prior booking or membership.
