Led by experienced instructors Serguei, Natasha, and Jordan, Yalenka offers a unique chance to explore Ukrainian dance and culture. With classes for all ages, from kids to adults, including specialized boys' classes and performance-focused sessions, there's something for everyone.
Performances happen throughout the season, and every three years, there's a dance trip for an added adventure. Yalenka is inclusive and welcomes dancers of all backgrounds to share their love for dance. We offer classes for ages 3 to adult, including weekly folk dance classes, boys' classes, advanced performance classes, and technique classes. Throughout the season, there are multiple opportunities to perform for the public.
Every dance season, our dancers collaborate to prepare our annual Storyline production. From the youngest to the oldest group, everyone works together on the show.
You don't have to be Ukrainian to be part of our open and inclusive community. You don't even have to be a kid, but maybe a kid at heart.
