During massage sessions, Kim utilises a combination of massage techniques, such as the de Mousgraffe Method of Healing and Traditional Thai Massage. She also incorporates breathwork to release tension, emotions, fears, and holding patterns in the body. Kim's intuitive approach allows her to tailor each session to the unique needs of the client, ensuring a personalised experience.
In addition to massage therapy, Kim is trained in Reiki Energy Healing. She believes in the power of energy work to promote balance and harmony within the body. Kim often combines Reiki and Massage during a session to provide clients with a comprehensive healing experience. The gentle touch and manipulation of energy helps to release blockages and restore the natural flow of energy throughout the body.
Kim's yoga classes are held at a beautiful venue near Athenree. Drawing on her 2005/2006 Ashram Yoga Teacher Training, she guides students through a practise that focuses on breath, movement, meditation, and relaxation. Her classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Kim creates a welcoming and inclusive space where students can explore their own inner journey and deepen their connexion with themselves.
Outside of her professional practise, Kim finds joy in nature and the great outdoors. She loves being in the forest, wide open spaces, and enjoys ocean and river swims. Living in a Tiny House in the countryside, Kim embraces a sustainable and minimalist lifestyle.
Kim's commitment to holistic wellness extends beyond her practise. She follows the lunar-Maramataka cycles and seasons, aligning with astrology, intuition, positive thinking, gratitude, and compassion. She is also actively learning about Te Ao Maori and Rongoa, exploring the use of native plants/rakau medicines. Kim creates oil infusions with native plants that she can incorporate into her massage work, and is able to create personalised blends of Rongoa and essential oils.
With a wide range of qualifications and training, including Yoga Psyche Soul, Karuna Reiki, and Red Tent Women's Circles, Kim is dedicated to continuous learning and personal growth. She believes that healing is a holistic journey that involves reconnecting with one's true nature and embracing simplicity and beauty.
