In addition to social bowls, Belmont Services Bowls Club also hosts annual competitions among its members to crown Club Champions in singles, pairs, triples, and fours. The winners of these competitions have the opportunity to progress to higher level competitions at District, State, and National levels.
The club is also actively involved in competing against other district clubs in the Gateway District Pennants, held from July to September for men and from June to August for ladies. Belmont's leading League competition, held from January to March, attracts players of the highest level in the sport and includes Queensland and National representative players.
Belmont Services Bowls Club also participates in other competitions such as the GR8 Competition, where a team of eight players competes against other clubs in the Brisbane area, and the Gateway Summer Shield, held in the first quarter of each year.
