Bowral Pistol Club

Bowral Pistol Club was established in 1971 and moved to its current location in Belanglo State Forest in the late 1980s.

Facilities at Belanglo include a confortable Clubhouse and six ranges: four 25m Ranges used for ISSF, IPSC, Service and Black Powder Matches; a 100m Metallic Silhouette Range and a Single Action Range. There are also facilities to camp over night in a heated bunk house with toilets and showers and parking for caravans and motor homes during major events e. g. State Championships etc.

We have about 130 Members and while Past and Present Members of the Club have represented Australia internationally at events such as the IMSSU World Championship, the European Championship, Oceania, and the Bianchi Cup, the majority of Members enjoy shooting at less heady levels of the sport. We cater for every skill level with the emphasis on safe fun shooting.

The Club is well-supported by local leaders and our Patrons are the Mayor of Wingecarribee Ald Halstead, our local state member Prue Goward and our Federal Member Albie Schultze.

Vistors are always welcome to come and see what we do. Shooting is primarily on Sundays and Wednesdays, but it is recommended that you check with the Club Secretary at the address below before attending the Range.

Pistol shooting is an enjoyable and safe family sport, open to people from 12 years of age onward. The sport is very safety conscious and stictly contolled by Law. Information sheets on the owning and storing of guns are available on the NSW Firearms Registry website at www. Police.
