One of our flagship programmes is Youth and Community, where we empower young people to make positive change in their communities through leadership development, creative arts, and recreation. We offer a range of initiatives such as Youth Parliament, where young people have the opportunity to voice their opinions and contribute to policy development.

In addition, we promote an Active and Healthy lifestyle through our sports clubs and recreational facilities. Our Henry Scott Recreation Centre in Darwin is a sports club that offers a wide range of fitness and recreational activities for people of all ages and abilities.

At Henry Scott Recreation Centre, members have access to state-of-the-art gym facilities with modern exercise equipment and knowledgeable personal trainers who can provide guidance and support. There are a variety of group fitness classes available, including yoga, Pilates, spin, and HIIT sessions. Our outdoor sports fields and courts are perfect for team sports such as soccer, basketball, and tennis.

We also prioritise the well-being of the community by offering programmes and services for all ages. Our Early Learning centres provide quality care and early childhood education for young children, ensuring they have a strong foundation for future learning. We also provide OSHC (Outside School Hours Care) programmes, where children can engage in fun and educational activities during their time outside of school.

At Henry Scott Recreation Centre, we are proud to be a part of the YMCA network, a global youth movement that spans across 120 countries and reaches almost 65 million people. As a not-for-profit, community organisation, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people in the Northern Territory.
