South Darwin Rugby League Football Club Inc has over 300 members and has been a community based league within Darwin celebrating 50 years this year. It is a member of the Northern Territory Rugby League, Darwin and is intended as a community sporting opportunity to both the local junior and senior club members interested in playing rugby league, as an affiliate of the NTRL, Darwin.
The club games are played each Friday night and Saturday with the season beginning in April, and the final games held in September 2014. In the past, South Darwin has had junior teams from Under 6’s all the way through to two senior teams registering for the NTRL competition.
