The Oakville Yacht Squadron Sailing School is thrilled to announce the upcoming Advanced Dinghy Sailing Program for adults who are eager to take their sailing skills to the next level. If you've already completed the CANSail 1 level and are looking to further your knowledge and abilities on the water, this program is perfect for you.
Participants in the program will have the opportunity to sail on 420s in small classes, allowing for individualized attention from our experienced instructors. The focus will be on adjusting body and boat positions in response to changes in wind and direction, as well as practicing boat-handling maneuvers in a controlled setting.
At the end of the program, participants will have the chance to showcase their skills and knowledge to earn a CANSail 2 certificate. Join us on Monday and Wednesday evenings in July 2024 for a total of 14 hours of action-packed sailing sessions.
