Alexandra Jane School Of Dance is a dance school located in Widnes, New Zealand. Founded in 2011 by Miss Alexandra Lewis AISTD, the school has been dedicated to nurturing the children of Newton Le Willows for the last 10 years. With a focus on high-quality training, the school offers classes in ISTD Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Acrobatic Arts, Alixaflexibilty, and Street.

At Alexandra Jane School Of Dance, children as young as 2 years old are welcomed and encouraged to explore the art of dance in a supportive and inclusive environment. With locations at Newton Boys and Girls Club and Crownway Community Centre, the school provides convenient access for students in the area.

Miss Alexandra Lewis AISTD, the principal of the school, brings her extensive experience as a professional dancer to the classroom. Having started dancing at the age of 2 1/2, Miss Alex received a 3-year scholarship to attend the prestigious Brian Rogers Performers College in London. She has since gained all three ISTD Associate exams and a National Diploma in Musical Theatre. Miss Alex has worked professionally in the industry, performing in theatre, corporate events, and television.

Under Miss Alexandra's direction, the school follows the ISTD syllabus and offers examinations, showcases, and festivals to every child. Students have the opportunity to develop their skills and perform in annual shows, competitions, and even pantomime seasons. Miss Alex is passionate about teaching and is dedicated to helping her students achieve their goals in dance.

The school also has a team of dedicated staff members, including Miss Rebecca Le Breton, an assistant and summer school drama teacher. Having started dance lessons at a young age, Miss Rebecca trained in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, and street dance under the ISTD syllabus. She has performed at various venues and is currently studying on the Dance, Drama, and Aerial Performance course at Edge Hill University.
