Ballina Memorial Swimming Pool & Waterslide is located within the Ballina War Memorial Pool, situated along the picturesque Richmond River at the eastern end of River Street in Ballina, New South Wales. The pool offers a range of exciting water slides and state-of-the-art swimming facilities, providing a fun-filled day out for the entire family.
The Waterslide Park is a beloved landmark and has been a prominent feature of the Ballina skyline since 1981. Operated by a local business, it boasts two thrilling water slides. The green slide offers a gentler ride, perfect for those seeking a more relaxed experience, while the yellow slide is better suited for the more daring and adventurous individuals.
Visitors can enjoy a range of session times depending on the time of year. From 1 November 2023 to 28 February 2024, during the summer school holidays and on weekends, two sessions are available: Session One runs from 10am to 1pm, and Session Two runs from 1pm to 4pm. From 1 March 2024 to 28 April 2024, including the spring school holidays, a single session is available from 11am to 3pm. On public holidays, a one-session timeframe is also in place.
The entry prices for the waterslide are $18. 00 per person, with children under 110 cm accompanied by an adult paying a discounted rate of $10. 00. It is important to note that these fees are in addition to the mandatory pool entry fee.
Waterslide bands can be purchased on-site at the waterslide entry.
The pool entry fee is $6. 00 per adult and $5. 00 per child. Group, school, and private bookings are also welcomed, with more information available by contacting hello@ballinawaterslides.
com. The venue is also a perfect location for birthday parties and offers special packages for such events.
To ensure safety, there are certain conditions of entry in place. Children aged 0 to 5 years must always be within arm's reach of a supervising adult, while children aged 6 to 12 years must be supervised at all times. Patrons with medical conditions such as high blood pressure, heart, neck or back problems, recent surgery, or other prevailing health issues are advised against participating in the waterslide attraction.
Visitors should take note of the rules and guidelines, ride at their own risk, and consider their personal limitations. Please be aware that the waterslide may be closed during bad weather.
