The club organises a variety of social events throughout the year, catering to the interests of both divers and non-divers. These events range from picnics to clay pigeon shooting and are designed with families and non-diving members in mind.
For those interested in trying out SCUBA diving, Eastcote Sub Aqua Club offers Try Dive experiences. These sessions are led by qualified instructors who will guide participants through the basics of using SCUBA diving equipment. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the feeling of breathing underwater and explore the weightless environment of the pool. All equipment is provided, and participants only need to bring swimwear and a towel.
It is important to note that participants must be at least 14 years old, and if under 18, they will need parental consent.
To book a Try Dive, individuals can visit the club's website or contact them directly. Try Dives take place on Tuesday evenings at 8. 30pm at the Highgrove swimming pool. The cost for a Try Dive is 25, and a 1 coin is required for the locker.
