Elevation Dance Studios

Elevation Dance Studios, located in Brunswick, Victoria, is a dance school that offers a wide range of classes for students of all ages and skill levels. The studio is situated on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, and Elevation Dance Studios acknowledges and respects the Traditional Owners of the land.

The dance school provides a diverse timetable of classes, including dancing feet classes for children aged 2. 5 to 3 years, pre-primary, primary, junior, pre-intermediate, intermediate, pre-senior, senior, open classes for 19 years and above with dance experience, and adult classes for those with mixed levels of experience. These age groups are determined based on the age the enrolled student will be turning in 2024.

While most classes are organised by age, Elevation Dance Studios also offers skill and invitation classes that take experience, studio values, and skill levels into consideration. These specialised classes are designed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

The studio operates on a term-based schedule, with four terms throughout the year. Term 1 begins at the end of January and runs until late March, followed by Term 2 from mid-April to the end of June, Term 3 from mid-July to the end of September, and Term 4 from early October until to be confirmed. There are several public holidays and special events when classes will not be held, including Labour Day, Anzac Day, Kings Birthday, AFL Grand Final, and Melbourne Cup.

Fees for each term must be paid in full within two weeks of receiving the invoice. Late payments will incur an additional $5. 00 late fee per student for each week overdue. Elevation Dance Studios also organises three performances throughout the year, including a Mid-Year Showcase and two End-of-Year concerts.

Students participating in these performances are responsible for associated fees and costs, which may include a footage fee, rehearsal fees, and costume hire or purchase fees.

The dance school has a specific uniform requirement for each class, and students are expected to adhere to the uniform guidelines. All uniform items should be labelled with the student's name to avoid loss or misplacement. Lost property boxes are available throughout the studio, and unclaimed items will be donated at the end of each term.
