Flamenco Sunshine Coast is a vibrant dance school and performance group located in Diddillibah, on the picturesque Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Founded by Yioda Wilson, the school aims to promote, strengthen, and teach the authentic and traditional art form of Flamenco, akin to its roots in Spain. With a genuine appreciation for the art, Flamenco Sunshine Coast offers a wide range of dance classes and also provides training in Flamenco guitar, singing, and percussion.

As the largest Flamenco school on the Sunshine Coast, Flamenco Sunshine Coast has gained a reputation for its high-quality instruction and soulful performances. Yioda Wilson, the founder, draws on her extensive experience and training in Flamenco to offer students the chance to learn the traditional form of this captivating dance style. Having trained under leading Sydney Maestra Katia Ruiz, Yioda has developed her own unique style and interpretation of Flamenco. Yiodas passion for Flamenco has motivated her to further her studies in Australia, Spain, and the USA, at renowned institutions such as Amor De Dios in Madrid and the National Institute of Flamenco.

She has had the privilege of studying under Flamenco legends including Farruquito, Eva Yerbabuena, and La Lupi, among many others.

In addition to her dancing expertise, Yioda has also delved deep into the history and song of Flamenco. By attending conferences with renowned Spanish historians and by engaging in in-depth studies of the Cante, Yioda creates a holistic approach to teaching Flamenco.

Guitarist Antonio Miguel is an integral part of the Flamenco Sunshine Coast team. With a background in flamenco guitar, luthiery, teaching, and performance, Antonio adds depth and richness to the schools offerings. Having studied with renowned flamenco guitarists Paco Pena and Juan Serrano in Cordoba, Spain, Antonio brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to his students.
