Their Quarry Pool, covering 1 acre, is perfect for fly-fishing, with catch and release fishing for brown and rainbow trout. The browns are about 1lb, while the rainbows range from 2-5lb. The pool is 3-5ft deep, with the best results coming from floating lines with dry or wet flies. For bait fishing, Greenhill's Island Pool is ideal for catch and keep fishing with rainbow trout weighing 1.5-2lb. This pool is also at Greenhill Farm and needs pre-booked tickets.
There are a few rules to make sure everyone has a great time: use the landing nets from the fishery office, stick to catch and release with barbless flies, park in designated areas, take all litter home, and no BBQs or fires.
To keep it enjoyable and safe, they limit the number of anglers to 4 at a time.
