Hibiscus Coast AFC

Hibiscus Coast AFC, located in Whangaparoa on the picturesque Hibiscus Coast in Stanmore Bay, is a community-based football club that aims to provide affordable and accessible football opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels. One of the key programmes offered at Hibiscus Coast AFC is the Football Fundamentals School Football programme. For players aged 9 to 12, the club offers the NZF Skills Centre programme. This programme provides a co-ordinated approach to junior football, aiming to enhance skill development and provide an enjoyable football experience. All coaches involved in this programme are qualified by New Zealand Football (NZF) at JL2 and JL3 levels. The programme focuses on creating an optimal learning and fun environment, taking into consideration the technical, tactical, psychological, and social aspects of the game.

The club also offers a Youth Academy programme for players aged 13 to 15. The goal of this programme is to develop players' technique, fitness, and game understanding. In addition to these age-specific programmes, Hibiscus Coast AFC also runs a Winter Football programme, which is the club's main programme. Registrations for Winter Football are open throughout the year, providing opportunities for players of all ages to participate in competitive leagues and enjoy the camaraderie of playing in a team.
