Founded with a vision to make Dunedin a top spot for ice hockey, Ice Hockey Otago has seen huge interest and has grown heaps – new gear, more coaches, and packed-out classes every season. They’re kicking off their fifth year and can’t wait to keep promoting ice hockey in the community.

Their coaches are legends who love sharing their passion for the game. Drew McMillan, the Owner and Head Coach, loves the social side of hockey and seeing everyone have fun. Assistant Head Coach Jamin Harrex backs the Boston Bruins all the way. Coach Drew Henderson is tough as nails, having played through a dislocated pinky! Goalie Coach Barret Wilson is keen to train future goalies, and Coach Richard Redmond treasures his unforgettable hockey moments. Lastly, Coach Kyle Reid, who grew up in Canada, loves the camaraderie hockey brings.
