Karate Christchurch is excited to announce its Annual Training Camp (Gasshuku) at Living Springs, a picturesque location in Allandale. From August 2nd to August 4th, 2024, karate enthusiasts of all levels are welcome to join in on the fun. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned black belt, this camp has something for everyone, including parents looking to get involved.
During the camp, participants will have the opportunity to hone their skills in kata (patterns) and kumite (sparring) under the guidance of experienced instructors. Accommodation will be provided in bunkhouse style, with special attention to room arrangements based on individual needs. For our younger participants under 8 years old, a caregiver must be present for the duration of the weekend.
The registration fee covers training, catering, and accommodation, ensuring that all your needs are taken care of. From hearty meals to snacks throughout the day, we've got you covered. Plus, there are plenty of activities for parents to enjoy in the surrounding area, including Shecafé, biking, walks, swims, and more.
Don't forget to pack your essentials, including a clean gi and belt, protective gear, running clothes and shoes, and toiletries.
