Established in 2012, Makai Paddlers Society is a sports club based in Ulladulla, a beautiful coastal town on the South Coast of NSW, Australia. The club's name, Makai, comes from the Hawaiian language and means “toward or by the sea; seaward,” reflecting the club's passion for paddling and its connexion to the ocean.
Makai Paddlers Society is known for its paddling activities on Burrill Lake, located just offshore from Ulladulla Harbour. The club also travels to various locations around the world to compete in paddle racing events.
