Marlow Bowls Club, established in 1919, is located in Higginson Park, Pound Lane, Marlow, Bucks, SL7 2AE. The club boasts a beautiful 6 rink natural green where members can play Lawn Bowls from mid-April to mid-September.
Marlow Bowls Club prides itself on being a friendly and welcoming club, open to both new and experienced bowlers. Visitors are encouraged to drop in and say hello, with someone available to welcome them from around 6:30 pm on any Friday evening during summer. For visits at other times, it is suggested to call ahead to ensure there is someone available to greet you.
The club offers free coaching for those who wish to learn the game, and arrangements can be made by contacting either Peter, the secretary, or Felicity, the president. There is also a Short Mat section in the clubhouse that operates from October to March, and new members are always welcome. The Short Mat section provides a sociable environment for members to enjoy roll-ups on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as Wednesday afternoons. Additionally, competitive players can take part in the season's programme of competitions.
