Located in Marlow, the academy is part of a professional martial arts association that provides training throughout London and the South East of the UK. With clubs in various areas including High Wycombe, Croyden, Thame, Slough, Bracknell, Henley, Chesham, Woking, Ottershaw, Chobham, Oxford, Peckham, Cippenham, Amersham, and Reading, the academy strives to make professional training accessible to all.

Each class is led by expert instructors who provide personalised monitoring and utilise a variety of proven routines to help students maximise their potential.
The academy warmly welcomes new members, including men, women, and children starting from the age of 4 years old. Classes are available in kickboxing, sport karate, and kung fu throughout London and the South East region. The club offers kickboxing classes that incorporate fitness exercises, stretching, kicking and punching techniques, and pad work. These classes are conducted in a controlled and enjoyable environment led by qualified instructors.
The sport karate lessons focus on sparring and competition, practising in points semi-contact and light continuous styles. Similarly, these lessons are conducted in a controlled environment with qualified instructors overseeing the training.
For those interested in learning traditional Chinese Kung Fu, the academy offers classes in “Lau Gar Family Fist”. Instructors with extensive experience in Kung Fu guide students through fitness exercises, stretching, and syllabus practises. Higher grades also have the opportunity to practise with weapons such as staff, Chinese broadswords, butterfly knives, and tiger forks.
The Chief Instructor of South East Academy, Peter Edwards, is an 8th Dan Black Belt. With over 40 years of training and over 30 years of teaching experience, Peter has achieved numerous national and international titles, including British, European, and World Champion. He has been a member of the respected W. A.
K. O. GB team since 1986 and now serves as the Chief Coach to the British Squad. Many of Peter's students have achieved great success under his guidance.
