For children aged 3 and above, Rabbit Slims provides IDTA Ballet, Tap, and Street Jazz classes. These classes are designed to introduce children to the world of dance, develop their skills and technique, and foster their love for movement. The school follows the syllabi of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), ensuring high-quality instruction and a structured learning environment.
Adults can also enjoy the signature Rabbit Slims DanceFit classes, which combine dance routines with fitness exercises. These classes are a fun and exciting way for adults to stay active, improve coordination, and enhance their fitness levels. Miss Sophie, the passionate founder of Rabbit Slims Dance & Fitness, has an extensive background in dance. Having started her dance journey at the age of 5, she trained in ballet, modern theatre, tap, and street dance. Miss Sophie holds professional qualifications such as the BTEC Level 3 in Sport, NVQ Level 2 Exercise and Fitness, and ISTD training in Ballet, Tap, and Modern Theatre. With over 11 years of teaching experience, she has honed her skills in choreography and preparing students for dance exams.
At Rabbit Slims, the focus is not only on teaching dance technique but also on nurturing students' confidence and fostering a love for dance and movement. Miss Sophie believes in creating a positive and supportive atmosphere in her classes, where students can grow, thrive, and build lifelong friendships.
