Water with their baby at all times. The first 10 minutes of the lesson are unstructured, allowing the babies to become comfortable and acclimated to the water.
The Ducklings classes are designed to develop water skills and safety in a fun and interactive way. The instructors will guide the babies and caregivers through activities that promote confidence and build abilities in the water. The classes include songs, games, and gentle exercises to improve coordination and motor skills.
You can book our Ducklings classes online. Bookings usually open approximately four weeks before the term starts. You can find our term dates on our website.
It is recommended to bring a disposable or reusable nappy to go under your baby's wetsuit or waterproof nappy. Huggies Little Swimmers are recommended. A waterproof nappy or wetsuit with an inbuilt nappy made from neoprene material is also required. Happy Nappy Wetsuits are available for rental or purchase at our facility.
Towels for both the caregiver and baby should also be brought. Caregivers participating in the lesson should wear appropriate swimwear.

The classes are 30 minutes long and always require a caregiver to be in the water with their baby.
