Strand Surf Lifesaving Club is a beach-based lifesaving club in Cape Town (Strand area) focused on protecting the beach-going public while building a healthy, active lifestyle. Coaches train lifeguards through action-packed Nippers, Junior and Seniors lifesaving programmes, with skills that include rips and currents, stings, and flag signals. Members can also take part in surfski (and WCUU) activities and paddling events, with club support and volunteer beach patrols during summer weekends.
