Tai Chi Sydney Eastern Suburbs is a sports club located in Sydney, Australia. With a focus on the ancient practise of Tai Chi, this club offers a journey of self-discovery and physical well-being.
The club offers classes for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Term 4 for 2023 will run for nine weeks, with classes held on Saturdays from 8:30am to 9:30am for beginners and 9:30am to 10:30am for intermediate students. Additionally, there are classes on Wednesdays from 8:30am to 9:30am for intermediate students and 9:30am to 10:30am for advanced students. The venues for these classes are Labyrinth Centennial Park and Grant Reserve Coogee, respectively.
Participants are advised to wear loose clothing and bring something to drink, as classes are held rain or shine.
Tai Chi is a practise that improves blood circulation, moves stagnant energy, and brings new vitality. It increases blood flow, enhances breathing, improves muscle flexibility, joint mobility, balance, and coordination. By creating a daily practise, individuals can refine and direct their vital energy or Qi throughout their entire body.
In the Saturday classes, the first hour is dedicated to beginners and intermediate students, where they learn the first section of the Yang style short form. This approach makes learning the form easier. The second hour is exclusively for advanced students, where they can learn the 37-move Yang short form, practise push hands, and progress to the 108-move Yang long form.
Tai Chi also promotes overall health by nourishing the internal organs, strengthening the bones, increasing muscle elasticity, and stimulating brain activity. It supports the functioning of the digestive, respiratory, immune, sensory, and endocrine systems, making it particularly relevant in the current pandemic situation.
The club also offers gift vouchers, allowing individuals to treat loved ones or friends to Tai Chi classes. Just nine classes can assist in muscle flexibility, joint mobility, better coordination, and improved balance. The classes take place in the beautiful surroundings of Centennial Park and Coogee, providing a tranquil and rejuvenating environment.
Based on ancient principles such as the dao de ding and the I-Ching, Tai Chi follows the natural way of being in tune with ourselves and the divine universe. It is a journey into the unknowable, eternal, and mysterious.
The aim of Tai Chi Sydney Eastern Suburbs is to improve concentration, coordination, balance, and calmness. It activates and stimulates energy, calms the nerves, and supports overall well-being. Through this practise, individuals can increase their vitality and rejuvenate their bodies.
Whether an individual is a new student or seeking individual personal attention, Tai Chi Sydney Eastern Suburbs offers various options. With loosening exercises, Qigong training, and energetic personalised instruction, participants can find the approach that best suits their needs.
To join the club and experience the benefits of Tai Chi, individuals can sign up for classes online. There is a special offer of four trial classes for new students at $100 or the option to attend individual classes for $100 each, which includes personal attention and customised instruction.
