When do you fish on the Lower Ord River?

We fish after the Wet from late March to early June, and you can also plan for camping-friendly conditions in June, July and August. In hotter months, we fish from late August through to the end of October when barramundi stir up.

Nature-lovers will also be thrilled to explore the bush surrounds, abundant with birdlife, tropical wildlife, and big crocodiles. Mr. Croc is a frequent visitor to the banks near the camp, offering a perfect opportunity for keen photographers.
