It to my playlist. Sylvia's classes create a peaceful and calming atmosphere, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in their practise. Her teaching style is gentle yet motivating, providing clear instructions and modifications for all levels of experience.
One of Sylvia's signature classes is the weekly yoga class held at the Liss Pavilion every Wednesday at 9:30 am. In this class, she incorporates breath, posture, and movement to strengthen and stretch the body. Each week focuses on a different element, such as Earth, Water, Fire, and Air, allowing students to learn how to work with these elements and bring awareness to their practise. This class is open to all levels and aims to bring space, strength, and awareness to the body and mind.
For those looking for a monthly practise that delves deeper into the nervous system, Sylvia offers a Kundalini Global yoga practise online on Monday evenings at 7:30 pm. This class is suitable for beginners and does not require any previous experience in yoga or Kundalini. By combining postures and breathwork, participants can release stress and overwhelm, bringing kindness and awareness into their practise.
In addition to regular classes, Sylvia also hosts monthly workshops, including the popular “Deep Rest Workshop. ” These Friday night sessions provide an opportunity for participants to unwind and recharge their batteries. Guided through gentle yoga postures, attendees can slow down their bodies and minds before immersing themselves in a deeply relaxing sound bath. The vibrations of sound bowls and gongs work to slow down brain waves and bring the body back into a state of harmony.
Participants are encouraged to bring pillows, blocks, and bolsters to aid in their relaxation.
Sylvia's classes and workshops are designed to provide a rejuvenating experience for both the body and mind. Whether you are new to yoga or a regular practitioner, she welcomes all to join her in-person and online classes. If you have any questions or would like to try a class for free, feel free to reach out to Sylvia. With her warm and inviting teaching style, she aims to create a welcoming and accessible space for all who wish to explore yoga and its benefits.
