Bolehills BMX Track

Welcome to Bolehills BMX Track, located on Bolehill Road in Walkley, Sheffield. This unique track is the home of The Sheffield Dirt Society and offers an exhilarating BMX experience like no other.

Bolehills is a full-size BMX track with jumps of various sizes, ranging from small and mellow to challenging trails. It features an inner pumptrack with tight rollers and berms, catering to riders of all skill levels, from balance bikes to professionals. It is the perfect facility for honing your BMX skills.

One of the standout features of Bolehills is the iconic set of jumps known as the backset. These progressive and steep jumps are rollable by all riders and provide an extra boost for those who dare to take on the challenge.

Bolehills welcomes bikes of all wheel sizes and balance bikes, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the thrill of BMX riding. However, for the safety and preservation of the track surface, scooters, skateboards, loose children, and dogs are not allowed on the track.

At Bolehills, we host the annual Helltrack event, a BMX Jam designed to bring riders together for a fun-filled day of riding and music. It's an event not to be missed!

Bolehills is the only BMX track of its size in Sheffield and the surrounding area. It has a rich history, dating back to its construction in 1983. Over the years, it has earned the reputation as the best BMX track in Sheffield. The track's success and maintenance are entirely dependent on the tireless efforts of volunteers and the support of the community.

Our focus for improvement and expansion in the coming years is on track maintenance. Your donations will go towards acquiring the necessary materials, such as surfacing, to bring the track back to standard and enhance the riding experience. We aim to revamp the 3rd straight for improved flow and more fun. We also have plans to utilise unused derelict spaces within the track confines.
