In addition to her physiotherapy background, Michaela is a registered Tai Chi Chuan instructor with the Tai Chi Union for GB. She firmly believes that regular practise and the right intensity are crucial for improving ability, strength, and balance. Michaela has partnered with LEGS charity since 2021, providing affordable exercise guidance and classes for individuals with neurological conditions.
David Bouchet, BSc Hons, is another valuable member of the Follow Steps team. With almost 10 years of experience in community rehabilitation services, David is well-versed in promoting independence and improving the quality of life for individuals with neurological conditions. He was introduced to Tai Chi by Michaela and has since become a passionate advocate for this ancient martial art. David is a certified Tai Chi for Health Instructor and a member of the Tai Chi & Qigong Union for Great Britain.
